Journey Update: Last Stop, Maamendhoo

Another update today…

While this is not technically our last stop in Laamu, cos they haven’t built an airport on Maamendhoo yet, after this island we’ll just be repeating ourselves (repeating ourselves).

After a few fascinating hours in Hithadhoo we were collected in a small dinghy for another sunset short haul over the lagoon to Maamendhoo.

Another day or two squeezing a few more stories out of the atoll and then we’ll be heading back to the other Hithadhoo in our lives to sift through our (re)discoveries.
